After playing the first two seasons of his contract in Los Angeles, Ramsey is likely seeking to ink a new contract, according to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.

"The problem likely is that he’s angling for a new contract," Florio reports.

"He has three years left on the five-year extension he signed in 2020. He’s due to make $17 million this year, $18.5 million in 2024, and $19.5 million in 2025."

Ramsey had four years left on the contract he inked previous to the 2021 season, but there was talk of him getting a new one after he assisted the Rams in winning the Super Bowl in 2022.

"It’s because Ramsey wants more and that the Rams are trying to accommodate him before things get as ugly as they did when he wanted out of Jacksonville," Florio added.

Ramsey, 28, will play in his eighth NFL season this year. He has been chosen for the Pro Bowl six times and three All-Pro teams.
