Updates On Byron Jones' Troubling Announcement

Miami Dolphins CB Byron Jones posted a troubling statement on social media on Saturday.

After missing the entire 2022 season due to an ankle operation, the 30-year-old veteran disclosed that he has been coping with some severe physical problems.

Many people believed that Jones' Football career was over after receiving this communication. Barry Jackson, a Dolphins source, claims that might not be the case.

Despite the message from Jones being alarming, it is not said to be a retirement declaration.

"In wake of today's tweets... Byron Jones is not retiring and there's no pending lawsuit, per source. But nothing has been settled on that front," Jackson reports.

The Dallas Cowboys chose Jones in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Before joining the Dolphins in 2020, he was selected for the Pro Bowl while playing for the Cowboys in 2018.

After June 1, Jones is anticipated to be released by the Dolphins.
